PUDLO announces The Phoenix Trust as our Charity Of The Year

PUDLO, alongside its other sister companies at DB Group, is proud to announce that this year’s charity of choice is The Phoenix Trust based in Milton, Cambridgeshire.

The Phoenix Trust was founded in 2006 and has been a long time customer of DB Group and PUDLO, using our products to make creations of their own, ranging from paving to garden accessories. They take pride in providing opportunities and support to people with learning disabilities and complex needs, giving them meaningful work experience and helping them develop their social and life skills. Given the long-term partnership with DB Group, PUDLO and The Trust, it simply made sense that they be the chosen charity of the year and the Group couldn’t be happier.

Phoenix members have already been to visit the Bourn office Head Quarters to take a look at what PUDLO and the wider DB Group team do, the facilities and learn a little more about the work done across the company. At the same time they educated the DB Group team members on the fantastic work that they do and shared their experiences with the Trust and what it meant to them to be part of such an organisation.

During their visit, the team from the Trust bought with them a bear called Milton, named after Milton Country Park, near where The Phoenix Trust is located. Milton was handmade in their workshop and contains PUDLO CWP.

This is an exciting opportunity for both PUDLO and the wider group, to be able to support the charity not only fundraising but also in product donations and an offering of their skills.
